Re: [FLEAA] our first resort, recharging station to go on line soon.
Hi again, I spoke too soon. My social director(my wife) inform me that I have a wedding in Ohio on the 26. So I have to take my offer back. Sorry, sounds like fun. [FLEAA] FW: Odyssey Day/SCC Car Show Oct 4th
Hi Everyone, Last year was the first year for this car show, and it was big then. I was there with my eBox and Charles was there with his Vectrix. There was definitely something there for every kind of automotive enthusiast. Jason plans to expand the classes offered at his college to include hybrids and electric vehicles. He would like input from our members about electric vehicles and also about a conversion he is planning. Jason writes: "We also have our 1999 Cavalier Z24 donor car stripped of its engine and transmission. I need some feedback on what motor/controller to use with this vehicle. Any info would be appreciated!" I have attached the preliminary flyer (please excuse the typos!) We are in the process of including Odyssey Day with our car show. I have spoken with Bill Young and he encourages participants going to his show on Friday to charge their vehicles and drive to Sanford on Saturday. We will have charging options for everyone. If interested, please let me know of your charging needs. I will have more odyssey day info as it comes available as well as the focus. We also have our 1999 Cavalier Z24 donor car stripped of its engine and transmission. I need some feedback on what motor/controller to use with this vehicle. Any info would be appreciated! If you are interested in being a vendor during the show to showcase your business, clubs, etc. I have included a form. I am also including a registration form, as we will have vehicle judging for trophies. If you do not wished to be judged, you are still welcome to attend and have your car seen at this event! All proceeds go to our automotive scholarship fund to help our students. Thanks! Jason Jason M. Gaschel G.M. I also commented on Nukes and AE on other PSC rules. Will comment shortly on the new rate increases which are up 30-50% over the next couple yrs on the west coast on why AE hasn't been implemented as wind, solar thermal engines, tidal power and conservation are cost effective and becoming more so as fossil fuel, nukes go up in price. > >As for net-metering, what I can tell you from the >legislator who authored and introduced it into the >legislature is that it is a done deal, passed, signed into >law by Governor Crist, finished, completed, and implemented >by the Florida PSC.
