Thanks for your forthrightness, Brandon. Rumola is indeed a very good service,
although it's a little tricky to install. Thanks for giving the heads-up.

Re: Regarding ZCaptcha

2013-04-21 Thread Annie Skov Nielsen
Hi.

My safari went busy when I installed the rumola extension. I succeded in the
end, but it took me several times of trying. I found the extension in my
downloads folder and opened it, VoiceOver said nothing, at last I succeded, but
is there a way to succeed the first time when installing such extensions.

Best regards Annie.

Re: Regarding ZCaptcha

2013-04-20 Thread Chris Blouch

Found their plugins instructions for voiceover on safari:

http://www.skipinput.com/bps/safari.html

and to install the plugin for Firefox, Chrome or Safari follow the links
here:

http://www.skipinput.com/bps/install.html

They do not currently have a plugin for iOS but I think their browser
detect is broken and thinks any instance of Safari is on an iOS device.

Hello all,

Many of you have tried ZCaptcha over the past 7 months since its
release.

Another captcha solving service has come to my attention in the
past month, called Rumola. For those who have not used it,
basically it is a browser plugin that automatically fills captchas
when it finds one on a page.

I installed it on March 26 and have been using it since then.
Every time I"m on a form with a captcha, I can't say how surprised
I am every time I reach the captcha field and it is already filled in.

I have no intention of getting into browser plugins. I developed
something in a time when there wasn't much available for the Mac,
according to the resources I had available. However, I admit that
Rumola is a better service, and for me has been 100% accurate in
the time I have used it.

I really have no interest in continuing to develop and improve
ZCaptcha, especially because I'm so happy using Rumola.

Right now I'm focused on my cloud Web hosting
, so
I really don't have time to work on much else.

Anyway, ZCaptcha is still active and still being used by some, but
I'm just saying publicly that there will be no updates to it, and
that I would recommend Rumola from now on.

2013-04-20 Thread Ray Foret Jr
Well, let's say it's very much a work in progress right now. I must be frank
with you. I cannot yet recommend it as a main browser because there's quite a
bit of play in it yet. But, if you really need it for captchas, and you are
prepaired to do a fair bit of tabbing around, and you are at the least an
intermediate Mac user, go ahead.

Y'all are getting that message because you haven't installed the extension yet,
and you likely haven't signed up for an account You definitely have to do both
things, but you for sure have to install the extension for the message to go
away. It isn't installed if it isn't in your extensions list.

No, I just got this going, but haven't tried it yet.

First, you have to click the link to download the extension, then you have to
open the extension and confirm you want to install it. Then refresh the page
for the service.

2013-04-20 Thread Brandt
Hi, I'm getting the following message.

Unfortunately Rumola does not support your current browser. Please leave your
email address and we will notify you as soon as we begin supporting your
browser.

I am using Safari version 6.0.4 (8536.29.13)

Hope that helps. Just updated about two days ago, though I believe the update
has been available for a bit of time now.

Warm regards,

Brandt Steenkamp

 Hello all,

Many of you have tried ZCaptcha over the past 7 months since its release.

Another captcha solving service has come to my attention in the past
month, called Rumola. For those who have not used it, basically it is a
browser plugin that automatically fills captchas when it finds one on a
 page.

I installed it on March 26 and have been using it since then. Every time
 I"m on a form with a captcha, I can't say how surprised I am every time I
reach the captcha field and it is already filled in.

I have no intention of getting into browser plugins. I developed something
in a time when there wasn't much available for the Mac, according to the
resources I had available. However, I admit that Rumola is a better
service, and for me has been 100% accurate in the time I have used it.

I really have no interest in continuing to develop and improve ZCaptcha,
especially because I'm so happy using Rumola.

Right now I'm focused on my cloud Web hosting, so I really don't have time
 to work on much else.

Anyway, ZCaptcha is still active and still being used by some, but I'm
just saying publicly that there will be no updates to it, and that I would
 recommend Rumola from now on.

 God bless,
 Brandon Olivares

2013-04-20 Thread Brandon Olivares
I don't know what you mean. There's only one site with Rumola:
http://www.skipinput.com

No, it is not free. It's $0.99 for 50 captchas.

Regarding ZCaptcha

2013-04-20 Thread Brandon Olivares
Hello all,

Many of you have tried ZCaptcha over the past 7 months since its release.

Another captcha solving service has come to my attention in the past month,
called Rumola. For those who have not used it, basically it is a browser plugin
that automatically fills captchas when it finds one on a page.

I installed it on March 26 and have been using it since then. Every time I"m on
a form with a captcha, I can't say how surprised I am every time I reach the
captcha field and it is already filled in.

I have no intention of getting into browser plugins. I developed something in a
time when there wasn't much available for the Mac, according to the resources I
had available. However, I admit that Rumola is a better service, and for me has
been 100% accurate in the time I have used it.

I really have no interest in continuing to develop and improve ZCaptcha,
especially because I'm so happy using Rumola.

Right now I'm focused on my cloud Web hosting, so I really don't have time to
work on much else.

Anyway, ZCaptcha is still active and still being used by some, but I'm just
saying publicly that there will be no updates to it, and that I would recommend
Rumola from now on.

God bless,
Brandon Olivares
