Thanks Phill, I did mean Analogue :) Getting my terms mixed up here. Thanks for that list, I will give that a go and see how I get on. Anyone got anything to share with the DVB card that they are using and if they like it, how much effort was it to get going in linux and how much did you get it for and was it brought in aus, or online. Eep.. sorry, my fault. should have looked at the mail more closely. I only have a standard Definition card atm, so that wont help. Try the freq nonetheless, maybe they'll work? I am looking at getting a digital card, what would you all suggest?? What has been the quickest one to setup, that works out of the box (as in no need to install lots of drivers) and also is able to be brought in australia (pref in melbourne). I am using a pair of VP cards, and I like them. But pple seem to hate this card though, saying there are tuning problems, etc. ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Re: [mythtv-users] Australian Setup Help Needed
Hehe, I guess I should have included that too :). I am in Melbourne Victoria. I have red a few how to's but most of them seem to be in different states. I have followed them as best I can, and everything seems to work, but I just cant get any TV to show, as i said, i get the static, but I dont know how to get the tv to work. Any help would be much appreciated. -Hurgh- On Sun, 6 Feb 2005 12:15:29 +1000, David Whyte <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Where in AU are you Hugh? > > > On Sun, 6 Feb 2005 12:52:40 +1100, Hurgh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Ok, I have had a look at that page, but I cant seem to work out how I > > can use that in Myth to make my stuff work. > > > > Does anyone know how I do this?
