( thu- sunday) Will need match ticket -- From: pcr...@contechengineering.com To: nswolves@googlegroups.com Subject: [NSWolves] Re: NEWSFLASH - Perth Trip Date: Thu, 16 Apr 2009 18:43:25 +1000 Hello Marcus, Flights and Hotel are booked, just need a ticket for the game now. Can we book a ticket only for the match through Wolves Travel Club? Or should I book it through the Perth Glory ticket office. Thanks for all your help with this. I have attached my flight details in your spreadsheet. I’m staying at the Novotel Perth Langley. Regards Paul. I had assumed that this rate in for a room so people would stay in their own double room unless they have partners with them. I'm guessing they need to know names for each room so they don't book to many if there are some who are sharing. Given that the room rate is $175 if you book direct with the hotel then that sounds about right but I'll double check with them to make sure (I hadn't intended on sharing with anyone for 3 nights OTP). -- *From:* nswolves@googlegroups.com [mailto:nswol...@googlegroups.com] *On Behalf Of *Steven Millward *Sent:* Thursday, 16 April 2009 11:32 AM *To:* nswolves@googlegroups.com *Subject:* [NSWolves] Re: NEWSFLASH - Perth Trip Hi Marcus, Thanks for all the work on this. Is that for Thu/Fri/Sat nights? I'm not sure I would want to share a room with me if I had been OTP for three nights. I presume that package does mean sharing? 2009/4/16 Marcus Chantry marcus.chan...@macquarie.com Hi received an email back from Wolves Travel Club last night offering us the following package for Perth: Ground arrangements @ £249 Per Person incl 3 Nts at Citigate Hotel Room Only, 1 x Match Ticket with transfers Return airport transfers. ( All prices are based on Double/Twin Rooms) If you would like breakfast included it will be £7 per person per night extra. *So based on current exchange rate that equates to $512.49 for 3 nights accommodation, the match ticket, transport to the game and transfers to from the airport. Plus we'd be sitting with the other Wolves fans!* Booking directly with Citigate Hotel is $175 per night so 3 nights would be $525 if you booked yourself, meaning we would be getting ticket, transport and airport transfers for free!!! Please let me know ASAP whether this package is of interest to anyone. I will need to provide them with names of who is in what room along with arrival, departure flight details for the transfers and I will also need payment as well. This seems like a good package to me. Pass it on to anyone else who might be interested. [NSWolves] Re: Wolves Anthem
What do you think about The Impossible Dream? I was initially skeptical, but I really like it now. 2009/4/4 Steven Millward millward@gmail.com www.wolvesfans.org Interesting idea. But many of the altered lyrics are terrible. I would go for Land Of Hope And Glory. Elgar was a Wolves fan It's a stirring song (thinking of last night at the proms) I don't think it needs new lyrics. Would be great to make it Wolves' own. I'd like it as the English national anthem too. What do you reckon? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ Pig's pudding - it's a mon's dinner aer kid -~--~~~~--~~--~--~---

[NSWolves] Tickets - Perth
just so everyone is clear, I am arranging a group booking of tickets so we will all be sitting together. I expect to get confirmation of price and location this week from Perth Glory, so no one needs to worry about trying to sort tickets individually. [NSWolves] Who wants Pie?
Ok then... here it comes. The time has arrived for me to admit that I was wrong about Sir Mick McCarthy and his team selections, whilst often confusing to many, have delivered the end result that matters; Promotion!!! I shall now spend the next few weeks baking the biggest humble pie I can fit in my oven (I'm sure Rog can fit one in his oven too). Onwards and upwards and time to plan for a new season at the highest level. Time to get rid of Thick Mick and bring in someone who can handle life in the premier league (just kidding... for now). Nice one gents. It's a wonderful feeling having tied this up before the end of the season. We can now start to debate who to sign. This will be the next big test for the club. I read that we approached loads of players last time but nobody wanted to come to Wolves. 2009/4/20 Marcus Chantry marcus.chan...@macquarie.com Ok then... here it comes. [NSWolves] Re: IMPORTANT UPDATE - Perth [sec=unclassified]
Marcus, Have Perth Glory guaranteed us tickets in the same part of the ground as the Official Tour coming over from the UK? Lee. From: nswolves@googlegroups.com [mailto:nswol...@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Marcus Chantry Sent: Friday, 17 April 2009 14:39 To: Darrell Yates; Morris, Lee SGT; les.ll...@veoliawater.com; Mark; MPoole; nswolves@googlegroups.com; Trevor Jones; xtremefloorcoveri...@hotmail.com Subject: [NSWolves] IMPORTANT UPDATE - Perth Good afternoon everyone, further to Lee's innocuous question yesterday about whether the Wolves Travel Club price was based on per person or per room, I have now had confirmation back from them that their price is quoted per person on a twin-share basis. This is not what I had originally assumed. Furthermore, they have quoted a price of $800 if people want their own individual room. This now makes their package price significantly more expensive than if we book directly with the hotel. I figured nobody would be interested at that inflated price so I took an executive decision and contacted the Citigate Hotel, where the Wolves Travel Club are staying, and have reserved 10 rooms for the nights of 9th/10th/11th July at a rate of $175 per night = $525 total for 3 nights. If anyone would like one of these rooms then please let me know and I'll put you down for one (I currently have myself, Les Lloyd, Lee Morris, Mark Worrall and Darrell Yates down for rooms so there are 5 left). Also, if anyone wants to share a room please also let me know. If anyone wants a room for 2 nights or for more than 3 nights please also let me know and I'll try and get something sorted for you. I will obtain match tickets for everyone via Perth Glory, who I spoke to again this morning. I think it would be good if we could all stay in the same hotel, plus have all the Wolves Travel Club contingent there as well. I have reserved the rooms on my Credit Card so no payment will have to be made just yet. Have a good weekend everyone and lets hope we get the right result. I like your choices (be nice to get Lescott back [sentimental reasons]) What about old prem campaigners like Ince etc?
