Re: PESO: Ghia
I like the understatement. A stock'74 Ghia would do 0-60 faster than a Corvette of the same era. That little bug derived car had a top speed of 90mph and a cruising speed of 90mph. The only other car that had a top speed and cruising speed that were the same was the VW Beetle which was 87mph, only because the Ghia was more aerodynamic, otherwise the running gear was petty much the same. You're welcome. My second car was a '72 Ghia, (the only car I've ever named, well Karman came with a name actually), and I've always had a soft spot in my head for those dangerous little Porsche's. Re: PESO: Ghia
They were indeed neat little vehicles. One of my best friends in college had one, I remember three of us driving from Hanover New Hampshire to Philadelphia one weekend -- three of us in the Ghia, me sitting on the back, slipping my feet between the two front sets, windblown all the way. I couldn't hear properly for a week after we returned. Dan On Sat, Jul 2, 2011 at 10:51 PM, P. J. Alling webstertwenty...@gmail.com wrote: You're welcome.
