Re: [QUAD-L] Smoking/ Chantix cost
Hi Paul, Mark, wheelchair and all: Does anyone know about that new drug that they have been amortizing on TV all the time that takes away your desire to smoke. Is Chantix covered by insurance? Two of my aides do smoke and I wondered if you could get it anywhere without insurance, or does anyone know the cost of it? Just wondering. Thank you for your information. Good luck to you all. Dana Medicaid covers it but if you don't have insurance it's about $130-140$. Dianna ** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

Hi Dan, My stand on medical marijuana is pretty clean. If marijuana helps you with an medical issues, then us it. If marijuana helps you get through some medical issues, then us it. Re: [QUAD-L] Smoking
I started smoking when I was on bedrest because someone had to be with me while I'd have a smoke. I got addicted but quit when it got so expensive I realized I could have cable TV and Computer for less than cigarettes. I hated the idea that some slackjawed moron was making cocaine money by selling ciggs to kids. It is hard to stop. Use whatever works for you, but you can't bargain with it. Anything less than stopping is called, "I still smoking." If you are doing it right you will feel sick. You will feel tons better afterward, too. Some of the worst effects are decreased circulation in your extremities. Nicotine and other agents cause narrowing of the blood vessels which causes poor circulation. This can result in poor healing capabilities in the lower legs should you get a pressure sore there. I smoked until 1989 and the docs said that it may have been a contributing factor in having to have both legs amputated in 2000.
