My home built battery is working fine with the latest firmware, as it has with all previous firmwares for the last several months. -- induna induna's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79833 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Auto-dimmer
The 7.5 behavior is the one intended by the developers and is as follows. When the screen brightness is greater than about 50% or so, the screen will dim slightly after 30 seconds to help extend the life of the backlight. It will go back to full brightness when a button is pressed, etc. It will not autodim when it is already at a modest level. There was a thread on this in the beta forum a couple of months ago. -- induna induna's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78788 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] SqueezeBox Radio battery kit avalible
I too just completed my battery and have it charging. As the previous poster mentioned, the wiring diagram is WRONG, but the text is correct. The batteries must be connected positive to negative to positive, etc, e.g. in series. The other thing I found confusing was the pin assignment diagram for the connector. It was not clear if the perspective was from the front or back of the connector. After trial and error, I discovered it was from the back. So, pin 1 is the upper left pin looking from the back (the side with large square holes) with the connector notches pointing upwards. -- induna induna's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75056 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Display dimming question?
It was explained in another thread that the display dims slightly after a certain time to preserve the life of the backlight. This only occurs above a certain minimum brightness ( I believe 50% or so ) on the latest firmware. -- induna induna's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75200 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Minimal Brightness (Auto) - doesn't work well for me
Try loading the Custom Clock plugin and applet and choosing the clock with RED numbers. Look in the 3rd party plugin forum for details. -- induna induna's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73614 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Behaviour Of SB Radio playing 'My Music'
Yes, album art is fully supported when playing music from a local squeezecenter server (My Music). -- induna induna's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73448 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
