Re: CS nasal spray
I've heard of people taking colloidal silver in their eyes, or in their nose, for sinuses, with good results. These were not in nasal spray bottles--they just put drops of colloidal silver in their eyes or nose. It is my understanding that the "blue lady" used silver of the WRONG SIZE. True colloidal silver is IN SUSPENSION, and will simply diffuse out of your body like Vitamin C. But if the particles are large, they may accumulate in your body. :) Joyce Inouye P.S. If you'd like to get rid of the sinus naturally, take good "designer foods"--greens, immune supports, etc. On Tue, 19 May 1998, RingDance wrote: > In a message dated 98-05-06 10:19:38 EDT, you write: > > << > Has anyone out there used CS as a nasal spray for any length of time? > (To be truthful, the account of the "blue lady" has caused me to > question the wisdom of using the nasal spray approach). > >> > > My family and I have used CS nasal spray for about a year and a half. Re: CS nasal spray
While CS as nasal-spray MAY work well, I've tried it in a nebulizer used normally for delivering antibiotics to the lungs and it's NOT recommended. I tried it 5 times for the serious lung infections brought on by Cystic Fibrosis and every time had a bad reaction: The feeling of suffication. I couldn't understand this since I was using silver mineral water from WaterOz, which has 100+PPM the size of ions (according to the bottle). I would try it, have a bad reaction, and then try it again in a week to see if it happened again. Bad reaction everytime. Then I met someone who is quite learned in natural healing remedies and has built 2 Rife machines -- one of which he used to cure his mother of bone cancer -- and said that breathing CS through a nebulizer may be depositing the silver particles into the tiny alvioli(sp) that the O2 molecule enters through and blocking it... that made sense to me! He told me to remember that we're not dealing with a soluable chemical here, but with a PARTICLE -- and that's a lot bigger than an O2 molecule! I feel that I gave nebulizing CS a real chance and it it didn't work... not yet, anyway. And that's too bad because I thought I'd surely be the perfect "lab-rat" since I have continual lung infections from CF. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all eyes. ~~~ PETE WROTE: "## A nebuliser also works very well at delivering the cs as a very fine mist. This may be a viable option especially for those who contract viral type asthma.I have just been looking at the parasite pictures recently referenced by Rip on the Rife list;some of the parasites enter into the lungs at some part of their life-cycle,so would be exposed to the cs if it was delivered by a nebuliser .And,I am glad to confirm cs effectiveness as experienced by my dear wife, who (sceptically) sprayed some into her nostrils and experienced an overnight removal of a very painful sinus condition.I was glad of her scepticism as it may somewhat remove the placebo/persuaded soul effect. your fellow lister, pete" -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. Re: Blood/brain barrier -- GOOD QUESTION!!
Sorry if I'm tuning in late, folks, but this seems to be a very good question! Does anyone have knowledge about this topic?? CAN c-silver cross the blood/brain barrier and settle in the brain?? I read that a large amounts of alluminum has been found in the brains of alzheimers victims -- which could be linked to years of using anti-perspirants containing it! And THAT'S through the skin! RE: Distilled water
I agree. It is so fundamental that there must have been some work on it. I worked offshore for a couple of years in the Persian Gulf, and distillation was the source of our drinking water. Amerada Hess Oil Company had this operation, and they were concerned about leaching, and reinjected minerals into the distilled water. I wasn't close to that decision, and it is awhile ago. I have done a few searches, without significant result. I will do some more looking, and will share what I find. Devour To: silver-list@eskimo.com Date: Sunday, May 17, 1998 11:19 AM Subject: Distilled water Jim, Dameon, and anyone else who's interested, I can at least speculate a mechanism where distilled water might not be the best thing going under certain circumstances. Most of what's in the world is soluble in water at least to some extent. If you drink some distilled water, osmosis will take place until some equilibrium is reached between what's going on in your tissues and the water you've added to your system. Some minerals from your body will end up "dissolved" in the additional water. *IF* you have a diet strongly deficient in a given trace mineral, wouldn't it gradually be diluted and depleted from your tissues to some fairly low level? After time your body would become as barren as the soil in which your food is grown. This assumes, of course, that your tap water normally contains enough of the same trace mineral to help the body obtain and retain it. This is simple-minded speculation on my part. I don't have a good gut feeling one way or another on whether distilled water is bad/good for you, or under which circumstances it's even important. I think we've seen some good comments on both sides of the issue. Be well, Mike D. The fertilizers being used to keep the soil producing more plants every season do not contain trace minerals. The economics of mass agriculture dictate that fertilizers contain *only* the minimum that the plants need. So the trace minerals are exhausted from the soil and never replaced. > Of course, a whole bunch of this literature is pushed by those who > are selling mineral supplements, so I really don't know what to > think. Re: ME AGAIN
Darryl, I have not seen anything that suggests plants are without nutrient, but I have read several papers that suggest that various levels of nutrients are on the decrease. Off the top of my head, I remember reading that selenium levels in cantaloupe (maybe?!) was about 1/50th that of those tested 40 or so years ago. I do not know how accurate the numbers are, but the whole idea was that chemical application is somehow robbing the soil of things that would be replenished with natural fertilizers and such. Of course, a whole bunch of this literature is pushed by those who are selling mineral supplements, so I really don't know what to think. I like the idea of drinking distilled water, and in fact got an almost new distiller at auction for 5 bucks!! I would however, like to see some kind of research before I start drinking just distilled water. I think I'll start with that book by Dr. Banik if I can find it. Thanks for the info.
