Maybe, maybe not. A couple of things that is clear is that antibiotics
do kill the friendliest bacterial and leave you open to fungal invaders
that the
freindlys held in check. Also man made antibiotics encourage the
bacteria
to mutate into a more dangerous form. 50% of all TB is now antibiotic
resistant. In other words, they are smarter than the people who make
the drugs.

My theory is that trace amounts of silver in your body enhances your
immune
system. Sort of like Vitamin C prevents scurvy. It could very will be
that
there may be a RDA of silver in your vitamin someday. I don't think it
is
safe to assume that we (they) know all there is to know about the
functions of
minerals that the body can take advantage of. Also, the bad guys that
silver
is effective against, have never demonstrated the ability to mutate to
survivability
 in the presence of silver.

You have not persuaded me to stay sick, so I can stay healthy. Remember,
we are
dealing with a natural substance and not something that is cultivated in
a test
tube.

Have you heard of Borna virus, also known as "wobbly possum
disease", or "staggering cat disease" ?

It causes brain disease in many animal species -- horses,
cattle, sheep, llamas, donkeys, ostriches, and house cats,
as well as humans. There are hundreds of medical reports
free on the internet (see links below).

Borna virus causes depression, manic depression, and even
schizophrenia in humans. It is cured by antiviral drugs,
but not by psychiatric drugs which are toxic, addictive,
and practically useless in most cases, while making drug
companies wealthy and driving up health care costs.

Colloidal silver may work well for pennies a day against
Borna virus, and any number of undiscovered viruses, for
people, cats, horses, and all the rest.

Also, there's a "stealth virus" found in some CFS (chronic
fatigue syndrome) patients (see links below).

RE: SEARS WATER DISTILLER

1998-07-25 Thread Dean Woodward
Hi List: I have had my Sears water distiller about a month and a half now,
and make ALL of my water for consumption - drinking, cooking, coffee, CS,
etc. It is the best tasting water I have ever seen and makes awesome coffee.
So I am very puzzled about the bad tastes being reported. Perhaps it
something in particular with the local water. Try distilling some bottled
spring water, and see if you can isolate the cause. Also, there are two
little carbon bags which go in the spout which do the final filtering. Be
sure those are in place.

Let me know if I can help.

BTW: The unit is not made by Kenmore, but by a Japanese company. You can
find the original manufacturer's name on the literature which comes with the
unit.

Hi Joyce and all -

I just got my SEARS DISTILLER but haven't tried it yet since I was
waiting to find out about the "aluminum factor", so I can't comment on
the "burnt taste". But I called KENMORE - who actually makes the machine
which SEARS only sells - and they checked with their tech dept and
assured me that it *was* stainless steel, then faxed me a copy of the
tech sheet with a description of the boiling pot as being stainless
steel. Then, I was re-reading the directions and noticed that they say
"stainless steel boiling pot" (which I'd missed the first time) in the
"first time use and set-up" section. Then someone on the list said that
there were 2 types of stainless steel and that a magnet would stick to
the safe one, so I took a little refridgerator magnet and it sticks just
fine! I guess it passes all tests for safety. I've noticed other
companies selling what looks like this model for A LOT MORE $$!
WaterWise has what looks like the exact same thing for $300 and a place
out of Australia is selling it for $500+! I paid $120 on sale!

Joyce: Did you sample water from the FIRST batch?? They say in the
directions that you have to "break it in" because there's factory
residue in it that will affect the taste!

Dameon

_

I tried the SEARS water distiller, but the water did NOT taste very
good--sort of "burntish". I tried adding Microhydrin to make it more
like
Hunza water, but the "burnt taste" was still there. Drinking burnt
water
doesn't appeal to me very much.

Do any of you know how to "clean up the taste" of this water?

Also, the pot seems to be made of aluminum like Daemon mentioned, and I
noticed that although the aluminum content went down in the distilled
water, it did not go down as drastically as the other metals did.

The boat does not seem to be a 27,000$ boat.My guess is that
6,000$ was spent on the boat and Cisco squandered or more likely
still has the rest of the dough.

Dear Whitney, I don`t take CS every day anymore, I am well. I only take some
now when I feel something coming on, such as the icky nose feeling
indicating a cold, or a sore tummy indicating a UTI.
I read that CS boosts the immune system, and also that CS is a necessary
nutrient that we no longer can get in the diet because of the depleted soils
on the farms.
I also feel that CS can stop my depressive moods. Figure that one out!

CS and immune system (was GSE)

Far as I know, antibiotics do not destroy the immune system. BUT. When
your immune system has to deal with an infection *by itself*, either the
invaders overwhelm it and you die, or else your immune system rises to the
occasion, creating antibodies that can kill off the invaders, and thus
strengthening itself, especially against those invaders. That's how you
develop immunity to certain diseases. I believe that if you depend on
antibiotics, or CS, or anything external, to fight infections, the immune
system gets less chance to exercise its functions, and does end up weaker
than it would be if it could have dealt with the infections by itself. So I
do not think it is a good idea to depend on *any* external microbe killer
until you have given your immune system a chance to handle it by itself. If
that doesn't work, then it makes sense to use external help.

 Gee, if

Cool,

Well, If you are taking CS every day, you are depending on it every day to
perform the functions nature designed the immune system for. Who knows what
is happening to your immune system? If you remain healthy *after* you
*stop* taking CS, then you'll know you did not weaken your immune system.
Right?

MSM

1998-07-25 Thread Philip Collins
Dameon,

Here is more on MSM:

MSM - How Much is Enough?
1,000 milligrams = 1/4 teaspoon (2 capsules)
In general, taking about 1,000 milligrams of MSM for every 30 pounds of body
weight (spread out in two or three servings over the course of the day) is a
good amount. We suggest that you start out by taking 1/4 teaspoon of MSM in
the morning and evening with or just after a meal. You may want to
experiment with larger amounts over time, but start out slowly. MSM helps
your body rid itself of stored toxins and if you proceed too quickly your
may experience unpleasant side effects such as irritability or what is known
as a liver headache. Such symptoms can indicate that your body is cleaning
out so quickly that your kidneys, liver and lymph system are being
overworked. If you find this occurring to you, reduce the amount of MSM that
you are taking for a few days until your body has processed out more of its
accumulated garbage. It will pass. Pun intended.

I found it at

Best--

Re: GSE

1998-07-25 Thread Fidget
Hi Donna,

If I remember correctly alot of us here, including myself, have had the
same reaction as you. That brain fog can be debilitating and I don't
believe anyone knows why or what is causing it, herx or otherwise.

As far as CS... I think the lady is wrong about destroying the immune
system. It's as close to an antibiotic as you can get and I've never
heard anyone mention that antibiotics do that. I've read that it does
destroy the good flora in the stomach however so make sure you take
acidophilus to put the good flora back. Anyone else hear or read about
this?

Hey, Donna, Did you think to ask this lady where she got her information???
Obviously she knows little about CS...Maybe you ought to inform her. Gee, if
CS did in our immune systems, I`d be dying of all sorts of infections,
instead of being so darn healthy!! (My doc told me yesterday that my blood
test came back "perfect"! He is quite interested in learning about CS. Cool,
huh?)
