I think if it were me, I would have smaller amounts more often, because CS kills on contact. This means the more often you take it, the more it can zap the newly multiplied bacteria. About half a cup every hour would be my amount, depending on whether you make your own or not i.e. Cost. Thanks Dee, we do have a generator (new last month). That is about the amount I took this morning. I am headed to the doctor due to the pain and swelling but worry because I couldn't get in with my regular doctor and have to take first available. My doctor is good about understanding I DON'T WANT ANTIBIOTICS. I do worry about all the swelling and that is why I'm going. My husband is so afraid it might go into my brain if I don't get it stopped. My brother told me last night at church he had a filling fall out of a tooth and got a terrible tooth ache. I have given them some cs and he started using it as a mouth wash/gargle all during the day and said the tooth ache went away. When I told him about my ear he immediately asked if I used cs. I did but didn't start early enough or often enough. My fault. I doubt I will let that happen if there is a next time. Hi Dianne, I agree with Kim. If distressed I would take my case back to the Natural Doctor for adjustment of the protocol. did you take it exactly as prescribed? timing, strenght of solution, volume taken etc?? Try warm damp towel on side of face and neck, anything to warm, soften and moisten the area. Also try a scoop, slide massage down your neck from under and behind ear, down onto shoulder and on to upper chest. do both side of neck but concentrate on the 'sore side' . This should promote drainage from the head department which may or may not be a good thing but is what I do for myself. Sniffing salt water, (1/4 teaspoon in a cup of tepid water) will loosen from inside. try to clear your ears as when swimming or flying. many methods but I clamp nostrils and try to sniff, to apply negative pressure to inside of ear. Our old classic standby was drops of warm sweet oil in ear hole. OK. with homeopathics quite often the old disease re-emerges. To my mind, from being buried in the body, it comes out backwards. One of the skills of administration of homeopathics is assessing the speed and power of the treatment versus the strengths, abilities, attitude etc of the person getting it. Maybe put some hydrogen peroxide (3%) in (or on) the ear as well. Alternate the two every few hours you're awake? Then there's the new thing everybody is experimenting with, MMS, that you can read up on at www.miraclemineral.org ... My ear is almost swollen shut and swollen out around it. I decided maybe the cs wasn't getting to where it needed to and yesterday started with a mixture of cs with a small amount of DMSO in it, a mixture that I normally used on sore joints. A little of the swelling is down but it still hurts pretty bad and I don't hear out of the ear. Does anyone have any suggestions. Dianne- I get really good results on pimples and boils with straight Tea Tree Oil on a Q-tip. Some infrared heat might help, too, or a heating pad if you don't have FIR. I'll try that and hopefully it will work. I have been going thru a heavy metal detox and I think the stuff is trying to come out my face. I also developed a sty. I've quit the detox because I couldn't handle the side effects, I guess I was hexing but it lasted a couple weeks. After things quiet back down I'll try going back at a much lower dose to finish the detox. Stirling silver is primarily silver and copper. A small amount of copper is needed in the diet, it is an essential nutrient, although if taken in extreme is can be somewhat toxic. Eating with sterling silver should not be a problem at all. The natural doctor had us on Nestmann products called Hepatica, Bucco and Allernest drops in 32 oz of water to drink over 7 hr period and a Standard Process product called Parotid. I did fine the first couple weeks and then got like I had severe cold. Coughing constantly, snotty nose, headaches, etc. I continued for two weeks that way and there was no let up. I would be okay in the morning but soon as I started taking the drink and pills on would come the side effects. I quit a week ago but that was when I started to feel a sore spot inside my ear. I somehow have managed to get a large pimple or boil inside my ear. I felt it coming on and used cs (5ppm)twice a day but it got larger anyway. My ear is almost swollen shut and swollen out around it. I decided maybe the cs wasn't getting to where it needed to and yesterday started with a mixture of cs with a small amount of DMSO in it, a mixture that I normally used on sore joints. A little of the swelling is down but it still hurts pretty bad and I don't hear out of the ear. Does anyone have any suggestions. If I go to the doctor they are just going to want to give me antibiotics and they tear my system up but may have to go that way if I don't get relief soon. Appreciate any help.
