Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Radio Station Not Streaming via LMS
Reports are that it plays to squeezebox hardware fine, but not to squeezelite based players. Link: https://stream.btsstream.com:8042/nonstop90s The issue is the https support built into squeezelite is a bit limited. Squeeze hardware does not have https support at all, which then falls back to Proxied Streaming. So the solution is to just to enabled proxied streaming for that player. 31775 +---+ |Filename: 2020-10-06_19-44.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31775| +---+ piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] File location of playlists
I have a perhaps simple question, but so far haven't found the solution: When creation a new playlist in LMS 7.9.3 the playlist m3u-file itself is apparently not saved in the configured playlist location, but somewhere else. Only my older playlists files (more than a year old) can be found in the configured location. When using the 'locate' command via linux CLI no file with the newly created playlist name is found. I only find several m3u files in /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/ with generated names, which seems the active playlists for the players in my house. So where can I find my new playlist-files? *Living Room:* HifiBerry DAC+ Pro & piCorePlayer *Attic:* HifiBerry DAC+ RCA & piCorePlayer *Kitchen:* SB Radio *Other rooms:* 4x SB Radio zordaz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61726 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113030 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

After restart the > namesort field in db is reverted to "VARIOUS ARTISTS". Edit2; I have found it: I have made use in the past of the sort fileds mentioned (for my Apple Ipod that would not sort the way I like...). My compilations had these sort fields for albumartistsort and artistsort often filled with the "Various Artitst". If an artist now occurs also on a compilation, it seems to me the fields for are combined, and namesort gets the various artists inserted. I noticed this because when drilling down into the wrongly sorted albumartists, compilations albums appeared... Hopefully this helps other people with some of their sorting issues as well... Newbe question I suppose: How to edit the custom-convert.conf of LMS 8.0.0 on a Synology DS116 NAS with DSM 6.2.3. ? If this is possible... What is the right folder, how to get there and find and edit or replace the conf-file. And change it back if it doesn't do what I want. Thanks! Just to rule out a PCP 6.1 specific issue, on the pcp 6.0.0 thread (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111787-ANNOUNCE-piCorePlayer-6-0-0) you could post a request to test the URL. Can somebody enlighten me? You need to update LMS. LMS has encountered a https issues and is "spinning" on the error (time between each error message is about 0.002 secs) and not letting anything else happen. Many internet services have started requiring newer levels of SSL/TLS (I.e https support). This support requires a combination of many support libraries as as well LMS modules and this is more difficult on WIndows systems. Some of libraries have been built to include later SSL/TLS support and are used in latest build. So upgrading to the latest Windows exe 7.9.4 should help. A more complete build of the libraries is being tested. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113028 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
