I don't think she is subscribed to this list, or possibly doesn't understand what a mailing list is and how it operates. I've replied to her at least twice and received no response even when I cc'd her direct. -- Brian Morrison ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Problem with SILC
Good day. I have a problem with creating a new SILC account with Pidgin 2.6.5 (win version). First there is a problem with non existing public_key.pub in .silc/ directory, error message is Unable to create SILC key pair. Then after this key was somehow created and I was connected to SILC network, there is sometimes a problem with logging in. This is a situation on notebook with Windows 7. On the second desktop PC with win XP and latest version of Pidgin I did not have too much luck and publick_key.pub is missing. Both computers are connected in same LAN. I tried to search some information on the internet but nothing was helpful or useful. Thank you for any support. Kind regars, Mark. ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? HTML code coming through as buddy's comment
Hi support, I have a colleague on ICQ that I chat with regularly. I recently had to switch computers and now whatever he types comes through like this: FONT face=arial size=2 color=#00sometimes/FONT I have uninstalled and reinstalled Pidgin, removed him and re-added him as a buddy, and he has tried using different fonts, but it doesn't fix the problem. No other contacts have this issue. Can you help? Thanks! I'm getting the following login error from login.yahoo.com with pidgin 2.6.5 and was wondering if anyone else has gotten this: yahoo, Authentication error: Account locked: Unknown reason. Logging into the Yahoo! website may fix this.. Code 1236 Anyone know what code 1236 means? It's also happening only one some ips - does anyone know if yahoo throttles or blacklists ips or ip ranges? thanks, Dario ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? I started having that problem and once I did that, no problem. When received early in the login process (during the HTTPS auth requests), it means that the account has too many failed login attempts--you must log into yahoo's site and potentially wait a while before trying pidgin again. When received later in the login process (after auth is complete), we don't yet know what it means. I don't recall if we handle that error during auth or not. We'd need a debug log to tell when you're receiving the error, but I would try logging into the website and waiting a while first. John ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe?
