In the Print Preview window, select the Page Setup button.  On the Page
Setup window, select the Format & Options tab.  Please report here your
settings on that tab.

I attempted to print a 2 page message that I received today, I used PRINT 
Preview
and it shows the page in small label like form approx 2" across the top and 
approx
4" long

the printer is a HP Laser printer, and this has never occurred before, a test 
page prints Ok
print preview using Firefox shows the full page.
I removed the printer, reinstalled the win7 software,
that went Ok, printing previews and printing  work OK in Word, Wordperfect

the print preview looks something like this

The quoted rate is 684 KB/sec, which works out to 41,040 KB/min, or 
40.08 MB/min. Then the remaining 421 MB should take 10.50 minutes, about 
as predicted. But the overall rate for the transmission is 589 MB in 201 
minutes, or 2.93 MB/min = 50.00 KB/sec; this is the website's stated 
speed limit. At that rate, the remaining 421 MB will take 143.67 
minutes, or 2 hours and 24 minutes. I would say that's a much more 
plausible forecast. In fact, the complete transmission took 5 hours and

45 minutes, a perfect match with my forecast of 3:21 + 2:24 = 5:45.

I've noticed that the transmission rate varies over time, and the 
forecast adjusts, but I don't know how it's calculated. If it were an 
average over the entire transmission, it should be asymptotic or nearly 
so, because recent conditions will make up a smaller and smaller 
proportion of the average. If it's an average over some recent period, 
such as the last five minutes, it can vary much more widely.


How is the forecast calculated? What recent period is it based on? 
Clearly it's not based on the overall rate for the whole transmission.

Digital transmissions are by definition bursty. The sample period should 
perhaps be adjustable like Task Manager's "low, medium, high".

The WhatsApp page is sufficiently idiotic that, as well as masking your 
SeaMonkey-ness behind Firefox, you have uncheck 'Advertise Lightning 
compatibility' in Preferences>Advanced>HTTP Networking; see 
.


If pages (eg GitHub) include a pointless browser compatibility warning, 
you can use user JS or CSS (directly, or through NoScript surrogates or 
Stylish) to hide it.

I have changed user agent to Firefox with some problematic web sites, 
but that didn't help with the horrible slow speeds, etc. I just have to 
use real Firefox for those web sites. :(

For those reasons, I switched to the unofficial Seamonkey 2.53 some
extensions won't work.
