I didn't know we was talking about 3rd party skin programs. Only the
skins provided by XP were mentioned so that's what I assumed he
meant... My apologies.

My stupid, due I never have problem or complaint so far :-)
Next 1 hours after we discuss in Sylpheed-claws list, new patch coming
for removing reply-to field from account properties, very fast response
for valid bug/complaint, I very surprise.

Later I will tell to this list how sylpheed developer solve problem
screen real estate, it's briliant IMHO.

I don't think that most of the people on this list expect betas to be
bug free.

But after over half a year since the last release and plans to release
1.54 for Christmas, it is really surprising to see the number of bugs
grow. It was this list that talked the developers out of releasing 1.54
with too many bugs. But I don't think a release came any nearer over the
past few weeks.

I agree, they added some really great features in the last betas. But I
still see many rather big bugs which are not being fixed. I've been
complaining about a bug since 1.53d and it is still not functional.

Maybe the new interface is important for the sales. But I think that
bugs and not working features are at least as important. I don't think
many people who try TB and are confronted with numerous bugs and
non-features end up as customers, despite its 'cool' new interface!

seems pretty reasonable to think this is something which needs doing
before final release, so why not now?

Hrmph :(

Three screen shots (not attached in case anyone gets uptight about
multiple attachments ;)

http://www.thebrixton.btinternet.co.uk/xp_beta46_sortingoffice.png

Shows problem 5i (down-arrow black on beige rather than blue rounded
XP style, and custom fields with beige background rather than white)
and 4 ('tree' button beige background rather than white, and
squared-off rather than rounded).

http://www.thebrixton.btinternet.co.uk/xp_beta46_spinbuttons.png

Shows problems 2 (tab face beige rather than white, with awkward
'line' between tab and tab face) and 3 (spin buttons black on beige
rather than blue rounded XP style).

http://www.thebrixton.btinternet.co.uk/xp_beta46_directories.png

Shows problem 6 (Directory and Home Directory fields beige background
rather than white).

These are all XP problems, as you'll see from the screen shots (post

AFAIK, to get XP themes to work, you just need to add a component to
the form in Delphi... That's 5 seconds' work...

Wow great, some funny icons more :-(

You know that the connection manager sometimes never time out. And the
Kill connection buttons does not work also. So as an result closing
TB! in usual way does not work in 9 of 10 cases for me, i need to kill
TB! using the task manager. :-( (still there in Beta 45)

Do you have worked at the RTF viewer problem? (the big memory leek)

BTW: the Virus scanner plugin interface are still not usable.

So the questing: You are sure you are not need to verify the priority
settings on you ToDo list?

cu,
 Dirk
