OT: frappr map for bat-people

2005-11-07 Thread Alexander S. Kunz
Hello everyone,

sorry for being OT but do you know frappr.com? ("friend mapper"). Its a
Google Maps based service to... h, well, visualise the location of
people that belong to a community.

I've just created a list for the TB list(s) community because I like the
idea very much. Join here: http://www.frappr.com/thebat

Note that you do not need to add your full name (privacy and stuff), even
your nickname is enough. You can add a photo and a shoutout to everyone.
Just check it out, its really interesting.

(to get an idea of a populated map, look at this map for example:
http://www.frappr.com/faxheads - its the community of fans of the german
"Fax Records" music label)

Hope you like the idea... the administration is somewhat... erm, basic. If
you have any questions drop me a PM (please not on the list, OT).

Purging/compressing without read them

2005-11-07 Thread DOLIST Support Information
Hello,

For thos reason I have some folders than need to be purged/compressed
when I leave TB, so fields like "Maximum stored message is" and
"Keep messages in base for (days)" are filled but this works only for
read message, not unread one.

Is there a way to fix this, without filtering them and make them
"read"?

We look forward to hearing from you,

EToken Pro

2005-11-07 Thread Vili
Hi,

Please, write me down in details, how could I use an eToken Pro for
SMIME. So, I dont want to use OTFE, I dont want the message base to be
encrypted, just use the eToken for SMIME encrypting of mails for
sending.

Thanks,

Doh! I'll be the first to admit that I'm a little slow on the uptake
sometimes. After reading your reply it finally dawned on me that K9
would scan *ALL* messages, regardless of size, unless that box {Don't
filter messages larger than} was checked. I have now reset the size
option back to K9's default of 200K but have yet to perform any
further tests. I'll run some tests and post if I continue to have
problems.

Thanks to all for helping me understand what was probably going on.

Try using a reply filter. Specifically, the Capture Addresses action.

automaticly adding e-mail addresses on reply

2005-11-07 Thread Jenny Zonneveld
In Outlook Express there was (still is but that is a thing of the past for me!)
an option to automatically add the e-mail address of the person you were
replying to to the address book. Useful for when you want to contact them again
but have deleted the e-mail conversation.

Is there a setting for this in The Bat!???
