Re: [SOGo] Add User?
Thanks everyone. OK, so here's the deal. I've been putting together some custom scripts that fully automate the process of re-configuring the ZEG for your domain/environment. Usage is: custom_zeg So far it works way cool. The script has a "-r" switch that will completely reverse the customization and revert the ZEG back to it's original state (custom_zeg -r). The thing I'm missing is a completed "add_sogo_user" script. It currently adds users to the Samba/OpenChange side, but as per my question, is missing the web authentication piece. As soon as I can get that working, I will publish my scripts to the group. -- Scott On 03/15/2013 11:38 AM, Olivier Bitsch wrote: I've made some trial on ZEG, and also tried to manually add a user, but it's not very user friendly and It never worked. GOsa can handle Groups and cyrus mail boxes. Regards Martin -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Add User?
Hi Scott, Are you using the zeg? If so what I did is login to the webmin interface go to servers then openldap and navigate to an existing user. Then use the option to clone the entry. I hope that helps answer the need for ldap changes. Then for the cyrus read here: http://sogo.hawcweb.co.za/configuration.shtml under mailboxes should help. Re: [SOGo] Add User?
We are using SOGo with OpenChange in a production environment. However, we are using a previous ZEG that did not include Samba. To add users, we cloned them from the 'sogo' user in the LDAP module via Webmin. It's quite simple to do, and then we ran 'cyradm' to create the mailbox, and that was it. Since your ZEG does not have 'cyrus' and since it has Samba, I am unsure what to tell you. We created Linux users first, then cloned the LDAP properties (since it authenticates via LDAP) via Webmin and created the Cyrus mailbox (as you already know) I'd say it depends on where it authenticates. [SOGo] sogo and subdomains
Hi, I installed the ZEG from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sogo-zeg/files/ZEG-2.0.4.ova/download and I managed to change the domain successfully to my domain. xyz.co.za for example, I can deliver a mail to: joes...@xyz.co.za and it appears in all the right places. I now need to add a subdomain as an alias for all the accounts such that: joes...@internal.xyz.co.za translates to: joes...@xyz.co.za and is delivered to the mailbox correctly. Could anyone advise on how that's done please? many thanks -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
