Re: [SOGo] Add User?

2013-03-15 Thread Scott Jordahl
Thanks everyone. OK, so here's the deal. I've been putting together some
custom scripts that fully automate the process of re-configuring the ZEG
for your domain/environment. Usage is:

custom_zeg

So far it works way cool. The script has a "-r" switch that will
completely reverse the customization and revert the ZEG back to it's
original state (custom_zeg -r). The thing I'm missing is a completed
"add_sogo_user" script. It currently adds users to the Samba/OpenChange
side, but as per my question, is missing the web authentication piece.
As soon as I can get that working, I will publish my scripts to the group.

Really?? No one has an answer? Is anyone really using SOGo
Openchange in a production environment, or is this just an
experiment for academic exercise?

try accessing via the web I/F it doesn't recognize the new user
account. Am I also suppose to load the LDIF of the new user per
instructions in the SOGo "Installation and Configuration Guide"
(page #43)? How about the Cyrus mailbox? You use to have to run
"cyradm" in order for the mailbox to get created. I notice that
"cyradm" is not installed on the ZEG, so what's the real
"complete" procedure for adding a new user.

Hallo

I don't know the special things for openchange but for plain SOGo I use
GOsa2 for user adiministration. GOsa can handle Groups and cyrus mail boxes.

Re: [SOGo] Add User?

2013-03-15 Thread Lawrence Haw
Hi Scott,

Are you using the zeg?

If so what I did is login to the webmin interface go to servers then openldap
and navigate to an existing user. Then use the option to clone the entry. I
hope that helps answer the need for ldap changes. Then for the cyrus read here:
http://sogo.hawcweb.co.za/configuration.shtml under mailboxes should help.

Re: [SOGo] Add User?

2013-03-15 Thread Steve Ankeny

We are using SOGo with OpenChange in a production environment.

However, we are using a previous ZEG that did not include Samba.

To add users, we cloned them from the 'sogo' user in the LDAP module via
Webmin.

It's quite simple to do, and then we ran 'cyradm' to create the mailbox,
and that was it.

Since your ZEG does not have 'cyrus' and since it has Samba, I am unsure
what to tell you.

We created Linux users first, then cloned the LDAP properties (since it
authenticates via LDAP) via Webmin and created the Cyrus mailbox (as you
already know) I'd say it depends on where it authenticates.

[SOGo] sogo and subdomains

2013-03-15 Thread lawrence
Hi, I installed the ZEG from:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sogo-zeg/files/ZEG-2.0.4.ova/download and I
managed to change the domain successfully to my domain. xyz.co.za for example,
I can deliver a mail to: joes...@xyz.co.za and it appears in all the right
places. I now need to add a subdomain as an alias for all the accounts such
that: joes...@internal.xyz.co.za translates to: joes...@xyz.co.za and is
delivered to the mailbox correctly. Could anyone advise on how that's done
please? many thanks

[SOGo] sogo logs

2013-03-15 Thread Khapare Joshi
Hi all,

how do I get the information from the sogo.log like this :

once the user is successful login

username, ipaddress (that he is connecting)

What I can get from the log is :

Mar 15 10:40:35 sogod [29587]: SOGoRootPage successful login for user
'baby' - expire = -1 grace = -1
then i get the ipaddress in the second line

Mar 15 10:45:07 sogod [12897]: SOGoRootPage successful login for user
'baby' - expire = -1 grace = -1
202.52.252.222 - - [15/Mar/2013:10:45:07 GMT] "GET /SOGo/baby HTTP/1.1" 302
0/0 0.003 - - 0

can't I get this users IP address in the same line ?

but when I use an android application (FunV10), I can authenticate
myself (http://funambol-machine:8080/funambol/ds)but my calendar is empty ..

any ideas?
thank you very much

PS: sogo Funambol and Sogo are on different servers

[SOGo] import vcards from commandline

2013-03-15 Thread Jaap Dijkshoorn

Hi,

I would like to import vcards into a user personal address book. Those
vcards are in a directory. Is there a script or something available to
do this? As far as i know i can only import vcards or ldif files through

Thanks
