My website is a bit of an embarrassment because I'm trying to link a CSS WebStore package with a straight html site and I lack the CSS skills and the time needed. It is getting there, however, and some of the links were repaired tonight. Anyone short of work(unlikely) that has CSS skills and/or has a good knowledge of Leopard server? I want to set up a hosting server for a number of WebStore modules and a major website for a national distributor. I'm looking for part-time help on a regular basis - hours and pay negotiable, that could develop into a full-time job if desired. Two part-time jobs possible, but with the unknown economic climate, I don't want to make promises I can't keep. Also, the server manager could work from home once the groundwork is completed, so it might suit someone who has mobility problems. Sounds like one for you Ronnie Not really up to me Tom! But, you could try this: To use Epson Print CD in Mac OS X 10.5, you'll need to download and install the latest Epson EasyPrint module from the Epson support website and force Print CD to recognise your Epson printer and driver. Follow these steps: This link is your Epson R230 http://tech.epson.com.au/downloads/product.asp?sCategory=Inkjetid=stylusPhotoR230FileType=1EmailAdd=MetricIDReturned=2729037platform=macosx if it doesn’t work, you need to go to http://tech.epson.com.au/ find your printer. Download and Install Epson Easyprint 1. Go to http://tech.epson.com.au/ 2. Select your Printer model. 3. Click on Drivers Downloads. 4. Select and download Epson EasyPrint under Macintosh Operating Systems.(Macintosh OSX) 5. Double-click the downloaded file, then double-click the Installer file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Reset the Printing System and Epson Print CD's Printer Selection Note: Resetting the printing system will remove all installed printers. You will have to re-add any printer you want to print to after the reset. 1. Quit Epson Print CD if its open. 2. Disconnect the printer's USB cable. 3. Click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the Finder and open System Preferences. 4. In the System Preferences window, click on Print Fax. 5. Hold down the Control key, click in the Printers section of the Print Fax window, then select Reset Printing System. Click OK to confirm the process. Do not re-add any printers yet. 6. Open Epson Print CD. With no printers installed, Print CD is forced to search for printers and shouldn't find any. You may get an error message (if you do, click OK or Cancel to close the message). 7. Quit Epson Print CD. 8. Turn on the printer and connect the printer's USB cable. The printer should automatically be added to the Print Fax window. Verify that the driver (listed next to Kind in the Print Fax window) does not say Gutenprint. 9. Open Epson Print CD again. Print CD should now find your Epson printer. It may take Print CD several minutes to search for printers. This process may take several minutes. Try printing a CD once it is complete. iPhone query
Can any one offer a comment on this please, I am completely ignorant on anything to do with mobile phones, iPhone or other! Severin Crisp Pop, are you able to throw a query out to the WAMUG for me please? I am considering an iPhone and whilst I am confident it can do all of the fancy things – app downloads etc, I want to be able to locally synch my email, contacts and calendar to the iPhone using the Bluetooth connection DIRECT TO THE LAPTOP – ie NOT WiFi via the Phone service provider. I use Outlook 2003 and not exactly sure which version of Exchange Server exists but at least a starting question. I am interested to know if anyone has actually done it this way – as opposed to someone saying “well it should be ok” – as that doesn’t prove anything for me. Let me know if you know what I mean and if you’re able to flick it out to the Mac community that would be great to see any responses of affirmative proof. Re: iPhone query
I don't think the iPhone can bluetooth to a laptop. As far as I know it only bluetooths to head/speaker phones. Re: iPhone query
Chris is right on that one Severin. Apple have severely hobbled the Bluetooth connection on the iPhone, especially compared to a windows or symbian based phone. Your syncing will be limited to a USB cable or using dotmac (or similar service). Re: Upgrade to Leopard printing problems
Hi I could not get mine working either. We have 3x R230 printers. Printing on paper is fine. Won't work on Cds. I tried drivers from the epson UK and US sites with no luck. It is the epson Print CD program that wouldn't work. Have resorted to using Disc Cover 2 RE which comes with Toast Titanium and the Leopard r230 printer driver. Works from Toast ver 7 to 9. Although on one imac it would only work with ver 8. Frank On 8/01/09 6:54 AM, tom samson thefr...@bigpond.net.au wrote: has anyone been able to print dvd/cds on an Epson Photo R230 under Leopard. Re: Upgrade to Leopard printing problems
Frank, Are you using Epson Print CD Version 2.00.00E? Have you tried this? 1. Open Print CD Set up your label etc. 2. Click Print. If it gives you an error message ignore it. 3. Click on Manual Print, Select your Epson Printer (R230 in your case), keep paper size A4. 4. Click OK, Click to Printer Settings, Select Media Type (bottom of Menu) CD/DVD should come up. 5. Quit Print CD 6. Open Print CD it will remember and work like it normally does. Well, it did when I had to force Epson Print CD to remember my RX700. Re: Upgrade to Leopard printing problems
Hi I've got Epson Print CD version 1.4.0E which more or less works, though a message comes up every time I want to print saying 'the epson printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed'. I just go 'OK' and a print dialogue window comes up, where I select 'manual print' and away it goes. Cheers Mike On 08/01/2009, at 3:37 PM, Frank Salleo wrote: Hi I could not get mine working either.
