I installed office 2013 64 bit on my system. But I am facing a problem
with excel. When I press f2 to edit any cell, jaws is not reading the
contents of that cell. Moreover when I press escape to exit out of the
edit mode, jaws just says virtual cursor and doesn't come out of edit

The jaws screen echo should be set to highlighted. This is the default setting.
At this point, there is no easy way to read a cell in a Microsoft Excel sheet
without navigating to it. To speed up moving from oneself to another cell, you
could use the go to sell command accessed by press

looking at? Usually, jaws announces the cell reference first and then announces
the cell contents.
As for reading a cell without moving to it, why do you want to do this? You can
