FYI its better to use
http://andblogs.net/2008/12/android-dev-phone-1-software-image/ - the mirror
is much faster.
These are images sucked off an ADP1 when it was delivered, not officially

Hello,
I meant to post, for some time now, a request to same effect as points
1 and 2 (from Karl's message).
Shipping a dev device with a firmware and the ability to flash a new
one without making the original firmware available forces me to boot

I don't control the various sites that you mentioned, though it's true
at this point that having the information out there would indeed be
good, given the growing evidence that many developers are eager to
find that information. I'll mention it to our web guys in case they're

When i posted this topic i tried a few different search terms and
managed to find 3 topics that eventually went on to d

read the messages of the last few days.
I've personally answered question #1 more times than I can remember,
so I guess that one more time won't hurt: "it's not available yet,
we're working on it".
I'm not allowed to answer quest
There are no answers. (Well, there is one answer. "We're working on it."
Occasionally followed by "you have know idea how hard it is". This is
basically the same answer they've given for 6 months for most anything,
including "why can't I delete email on my retail g1? its a 1 line fix!")
