Unfortunately that doesn't work on the Apex. You'd need an earlier unit to get access to the remote synthesizer option. You could also use a patch cable and record its output that way, or try the 15 minute demo for DOS.

As far as I know, this isn't possible. There isn't a way to obtain the Windows CE OS or the Keysoft software to my knowledge. Even if there is, Fusion doesn't support Windows CE and I don't even know if it w
