Azorean people went to Cuba? Did whaling ships stop there?

Doug, I'm sure the weather in Mexico is very nice, but the Azores are
beautiful, and I don't think families would pack up and leave just for a
warmer climate. I believe the fact that some of my DNA cousins have
ancestors who lived in Nuevo Leon could be significant. Check out this
