Hi Ontario birders.
Just returned from Chambly about an hour ago.
The Ross' was first seen to-day around 1:45PM behind the old fort near the
marina. It had apparently not been seen earlier in the day despite the fact
that there were numerous people looking for it since the early morning hours.

Hi Ontbirders
Had a great afternoon birding in eastern Ontario. My wife, Laure and I observed
a Northern Hawk-Owl just east of Perth hunting along Hwy.7 near Drummond 7th
Cons. at 2:00 p.m. Later on while birding along the Ottawa River, Lake
Deschenes, I observed a Purple Sandpiper at Dick Bell

Hello birders:
25 participants enjoyed an enjoyable, albeit windy (!), day birding at
Cobourg Harbour, Chubs Point and Presqu'ile Provincial Park where a
seasonally productive 42 bird species were encountered.
A COMMON LOON at extremely close range greeted the group first-thing in the
morning at
After 2 hours of looking, I was finally able to locate, about 45 minutes ago,
the previously reported Franklin's Gull. The bird was upstream of Adam Beck,
opposite Devils Hole SP and was sitting on the rocks in the river with at least
several hundred other gulls.
It then flew downstream toward
81 Navy Wharf Court, corner of Bremner near Spadina.
A Peregrine Falcon is sitting on the top of Optima Building Cityplace
Toronto. I wonder if this a new haunt for it.
