If you see the guy again with the Yenko Deuce, ask if he has it in the Deuce Registry. I know the guy who runs it and he provides a lot of great info to the Deuce owners.
No,I think the original color was a dark green. It's black now but will
probably be repainted back to the original color durin
Hi Vernon,
The bed coating is Dupont do-it-yourself and I think it sucks. To me
it appears to be thick paint, nothing more. Eventually I plan to take it
to Line-X or someplace like that.

this could be a somewhat timely thread for me.
I recently found my "dream" car in the auto-trader -- a '70 convertible with
4sp! (at an affordable price) I called and got an answering machine, but if
the car is still around, I'm pretty serious about picking it up if the major
stuff is in reasonabl
Mike;
by the way- the MSRA is a great club for only 20.00 per year the news letter is
fat-(monthly) has good info in it and i think the classifieds are worth the price
alone. although you cant get into the "back to the 50's" car show for free (10,000
cars last year!!!)like you can for some clubs

I think he is talking about a manual convertible top vs. a power convertible top, not
a coupe vs. a convertible.
I have the same question and wonder what is involved in adding a power unit to my 64
manual convertible top. Anyone know?

The roof
is a structural part of the car. Convertibles have fully boxed frames to make

Do any of you know if a manual top can be set up to a power top without any alterations?,this would be on a 65' chevelle. I know you'd need to get all the hydraulics, pump & switches etc. but can it be bolted right up if you had all the materials? I was just wondering before I check
