Hi,
from an end-user perspective, since I'm part of the Debian Catalan
Local Group [0], I'd love to have a visible support group that we can
reach out to as well get support from.
Although there is already an existing IRC channel mentioned
previously, a mailing list would help on coordination
I intent to adopt socnetv.
I have already spoken to Serafeim and he's willing to help me kindly.

Whenever I try to start a java-based application, it doesn't start, and
depending on the application I get no output or this:
