Hi, I have a P75 with 24MB memory which acts as a gateway with a dialup internet connection. I am looking for a web proxy program to run on it. I have been using WWWoffle, but found that with a 3 minute timeout set, it sometimes reports a timeout after 3 seconds. What I want are recommendations

Apache makes a great proxy server. All you have to do is enable it as such in the config files: #Directory proxy:* #Order deny,allow #Deny from all #Allow from .your_domain.com #/Directory -packy -- Packy Anderson

Hi, I have been running a mini ISP with what I could only describe as a pretty 'unique' setup: It is all running of a Debian 2.2 box. It has 5 Stallion 8 port serial cards providing 40 PPP dialin lines. (I had to patch the kernel to add support for more than 4 boards) I am running Squid

well,i can connect manually from here,a 194.102.92.x ip.. the pop3 server is on 194.102.92. class,the dialup clients are on 217.156.43.x class. i have noticed that i cant reverse domains on our leased line clients with servers on the 217 class.. so,there is no firewall,like all that we changed is
