Dapper Drake.
I can't access the preferences from within rhythmbox; the program hangs when I
do that. So I should probably file another bug report on that? I do a clean
startup of rhythmbox; press preferences => hang.

No I would not mark it as fixed. I just ran into some H.264/AVC-encoded
quicktime trailers where I get that exact same faad-related "Maximum number of
scalefactor bands exceeded"-error. The example clips below used to work just a
few days ago. I don't know in which update-cycle they stopped work

cupsys 1.1.99.rc3-0ubuntu4, rebooted (just to make sure!) and I still get the

Okay, I've managed to get my SB Audigy 2 NX working again, which means
that the MP3s that worked on my onboard sound card now again refuse to
play. After installing your package, the files still refuse to play,
just as before.
Could it be an issue with the drivers for the sound card?

Have you changed your /etc/sound/events/gnome-2.soundlist?
returning TRUE will lead to have gnome_triggers_vdo called for "gnome-2 login"
which plays the sound defined by /etc/sound/events/gnome-2.soundlist on my box.
I've done a small example calling gnome_triggers_vdo and the sound is played
It will be an SVG, and in 22, 24 and 48 pixel sizes.

I don't know what is wrong with a red cross, like the close cross, but it must
have another shape otherwise the color is the only difference (and that would
be bad for colorblind people).
The red circle with the red line through it is a bad choice. As most people

We'll have vector icons in most places by release. If you see
http://daniel.holba.ch/ubuntu/ic/ and look for "vector" in the comment
you'll know where we plan to provide vectors.

should be the text entered by the user.

There isn't an option for that. There is linkifying code in our
gtkimhtml stuff that tries to play right with what each protocol states
it is capable of supporting. Not having this behavior causes bug
reports.
