A good example on how to do this is in the report "CustAccountstatementExt" and look at the method TmpAccountSum()
Good luck

Have you thought about just writing the information to a file?

Hi
Another question regarding Label Files. Is anyone in an environment
where there are several developers and want to create labels in the same
label file?.. We have found that the last developer to exit Axapta
overwrites the new label created by other developers.
Thanks
Tony

I am aware that this is what Axapta does with the other 40 tables which
had the configId move to the inventDim. Axapta's Upgrade wizard does
not move the inventSerial.ConfigId data.
If I take your suggestion, that means that you would have to link the
InventSerial record to the InventDim rec
validate functions?

With Current Axapta version, I am under the belief that you have to use "group by". I think, that in later future versions it will be implemented.

Hi Ottawa,
I seem to remember that I tried this once before and found that I could
not make an array field (ie Dimensions) mandatory. I overcame this by
checking the value of the field and if empty then return a message and
false in the validateWrite method.
Good luck

One solution is to add this line in the init()
salesTable_ds.query().dataSourceNo(1).addRange(fieldnum(SalesTable,Sales
Id)).value(myOwnSalesId);
Good luck

You are almost there..
Here is an example form the smmContactPersonSelectForSynchronisation
form:
contact = contactPerson_ds.getFirst(true);
if (!contact.RecId)
smmContactPersonsSynchronize::syncContactPerson(contactPerson.contactPer
sonId);
else

Have you tried just deleting the axusr.aod file and reimporting your
project back into the VAR layer?. Remember, that by deleting the aod
file you delete ALL the user changes!
Good luck

Hi,
You can edit the setCaptionText() method on the SalesTable form.
Good luck

SysQuery::countTotal(this.queryRun())
Returns number of records in query
