I just experienced the same discovery of this solution about a week
ago. I had tried all types of trouble shooting to no avail. Finally I
hit upon this solution.

The problem appears to have been resolved. There was an intermittent IP
conflict. Resolving this seems to have eliminated the Squeezebox halts.
No halts occurred with two loops through the 90 minute long stream so
hopefully the system is now functioning properly.

Calling the number and emailing was also a waste of time. Fortunately

The power button got me until I read the docs...
You need to hold it on for a couple seconds for it to recognize it as a
button press instead of an oops.
Turning it off isn't as picky (sort of): a short button press brings up
the menu for various things (key/screen lock, PIN lock, Offline mode,

Sounds like the FLAC file might have a stream error. Does it stop in
the same place?
foobar will indicate when there's a stream error.
In SlimServer, go to Server Settings - Debugging - d_source. Play the

No error messages were seen in the computer's event log at the time
that the Squeezebox stopped playing the audio. Pressing Play on the

Use a Nokia N800 running a web browser to control the transporter. It
won't control the rest of the junk.
You'd better ventilate that closed cabinet/closet or all your stuff
will require frequent repair.

it looks like it can't connect to the database, probably because the
old slimserver mysql instance is still running.
Try to shutdown slimserver and then run:
