It might be nice to have a mode that disallows deletion of *non-empty* folders. In order for a user to delete the folder, the folder must first be emptied and purged. Alas, deleting messages can be undone, but folders can't be, and the UI of a client doesn't necessarily make this obvious.

[Dovecot] Running sieve filters on already delivered mails

I want to know what the best way to run sieve filters on already delivered mail is. Problem is that I have a rather large unfiltered mailbox and filtering it by hand would be a PITA. I don't mind coding something up to do this, but I just don't think that I'm the first one with this problem. Thank
