Mine is a bit more complicated, but it was written to work against Exchange
2003 first. The following function "Remove_LegacyAddress takes 2 entries, a
mailbox object and a string for the dead domain.
You'd use it something like:
$deaddomain = "exchange.taylor.k12.fl.us"
$mbxes = get-mailbox -resu
How can I restore OWA (Exchange 2003) to the original settings (when it
was installed with Exchange 2003)?

I need another cup of coffee.
To do one mailbox:
$mbx = Get-mailbox
$addrs = $mbx.emailaddresses |? {$_.smtpaddress -notlike
"*...@exchange.taylor.k12.fl.us"}
Set-mailbox $mbx -emailaddresses $addrs
}

Correction:
Get-mailbox |% {
$addrs = $_.emailaddresses |? {$_.smtpaddress -notlike
"*...@exchange.taylor.k12.fl.us"}
Set-mailbox $_ -emailaddresses $addrs
}
To do one mailbox:
$mbx = Get-mailbox
$addrs = $mbx.emailaddresses |? {$_.smtpaddress -notlike
"*...@exchange.taylor.k12.fl.us"}
Set-
You'll need to test on a sample (do the get-mailbox on a single mailbox first)
and check the results, but this should work:
Beware of wrappage
Get-mailbox |% {
$addrs = $_.emailaddresses |? {$_.smtpaddress -notlike
"*...@exchange.taylor.k12.fl.us"}
Set-mailbox -emailaddresses $addrs
}

I've worked with these certs as well. What I don't like is the lack of control
over what is put in the 'Subject' field of the cert. Plain amateuristic IMHO is
that they automatically add entries to the SAN attribute I don't want. If you
buy a SAN cert from them for mail.company.com they add: www
