If it was one watt, I'd have said "QRP."
Traditionally, 100 watts is "barefoot."
And,
To my mind a barefoot SDR is the one watt rig.
Is that a reasonable assumption?
I wonder because working DX is, of course, quite a bit
easier at the 100 watt level.

Has anyone ever interfaced a SDR-1000 to a PW-1 amplifier?
If so could you give details on the arrangement?
Thanks

Someone recommended these awhile back. I got ten. Good cables.

Bob,
thank you for your support with CAT in PowerSDR.
Now testing this amplifier, it work absolutely great, this is the link
to related pages: http://www.radio-ham.eu/Expert1K-FA.htm
It has very interesting performance compared to the "big name" in this
category, and

Neal,
I recommend that anytime there is a change to your system i.e.,card, cables,
power supply voltage, that you do a complete calibration in order to achieve
optimum performance.

I will pick up a TI-based firewire card this afternoon for my FA-66
setup. I used an old card of unknown source/vintage to install the
fa-66 and do the PA calibration last night. Is there any reasion I
would need to re-calibrate when I swap out the firewire cards?

I would to add to Tim's excellent comments regarding the Delta 44 Box.
I made the breakout box replacement kit available from KB9YIG even before I
ordered the Flex. In my opinion, this little board from KB9YIG is a must have
item for the Delta 44. In addition to the greatly improved RF imm

WOW.I finally solved the CAT sharing between PowerSDR / LOG / Linear

Searching solutions on web I have found this:

It split any real or virtual serial port in others real or virtual ports,
generating the virtual ports if needed.

I have a 1 watt SDR 1000 purchased six months ago. I feed it into the
driver and PA of an otherwise defunct Heath SB401.
Question 1:
I had trouble with the Rx randomly not coming back after tx. Attaching
grounding leads to the Delta 44 breakout box seems to have cured this
problem. I had a peep
