I have taken the advise and upgraded Radius to 2.0.5 on Ferdora 9.
When I start radius -X it starts up without any errors.
The last few lines as follows;
Listening on authentication address * port 1812
Listening on accounting address * port 1813
Listening on proxy address * port
Alan good call... I thought that I disabled all the firewall, SElinux during
the install.
Now I am working with the windows box XP Pro. I connects be still can't find a
cert for the network linksys.
Any ideas?

The only thing in the database is the userid and
password. I put nothing else in.
I believe it has to do with my Default Auth-Type
setting in the Users file.

I am having a hard time getting FreeRadius to log the FramedIPAddress in my
MySQL database. This worked perfectly when I was using ICRadius, but quit
when I upgraded (migrated) to FreeRadius over a year ago.

After many days of endless searching... I had to install php4-mysql.
apt-get install php4-mysql
this fixed the blank pages, but i get the error...
cannot connect to sql databse
is there a log somewhere that would give me a hint as to what I'm missing
now?

yes, I've triple checked the config files. I can't see anything obvious.
Is there a know way to step through the php files to see exactly were the
system goes astray?
maybe a test php file to check the sql connection?

I have requirements that I prevent users with a shell of /dev/null from
authenticating against freeradius server.
Using the rpm provided with RHEL4.0:
radiusd: FreeRADIUS Version 1.0.1
I am using the unix module and pam. /dev/null is not listed as a valid
