Finally got hold of another admin to try it, he gets the same problem
though, rollbacked server gives him the logs fine, the others he gets
the time out error and no logs.
I've also been in touch with another Windows server adminstrator whos
having the same problem, he's got one server that he upd
Oh, I meant just make a "dummy" password. But I understand you completely,
so not to worry :)
Yeah, as you said, I would suggest getting another admin to try it out on
their end and compare what happens. That way you could narrow down the
problem with HLSW.
Very strange problems with your VAC. I
Sorry, i'm not in the habit of handing out my passwords to strangers
i'm afraid :p
I'll see what i can do about getting another admin to try though, so
far it has just been me trying with HLSW.
I checked the VAC thing on one updated server as well, HL2MP/CSS/DODS
are all secure but with Hidden So
That's weird. I really don't think HLSW does much more than connects to the
gameserver through a port (7130) I believe. If you want to email me an IP

the same problem.

I can't answer your last questions, but I can say I have not had a problem
connecting using Half-Life Server Watch to both of my servers. Maybe a
firewall/router is blocking its ability to send outgoing connections? I am
using 1.0.0.47 right now, the latest stable version I believe. There are

Since the last update HLSW is unable to retrieve server logs, i can
log on and execute commands, just not get any log info, chat/STEAM ID
etc, so not very helpful at all. This is happening for both Linux and
Windows administrators as well, one windows administrator i've seen
post on the steam/hlsw

I cannot explain what this is, because it's the first time I hear about
such a problem. Does someone has information about this?
