Create an apt-on-cd with all the softwares you need. That will solve the
problem of remastering or anything. Now after installation of Debian put in
the apt-on-cd and install all the packages on it.

I am using Debian Lenny on my Dell Inspiron laptop. I need to program
PIC18F4550 using its default pins directly using USB. ( I am not using
any programmers). But when I plug in the USB its not getting detected.
While in my friends' laptops in windows vista its being detected after

i felt some problems with remastersys,
