An exhausting session, both live and going over the recording. Huge
numbers of carriers, some Chinese audio, probably a bunch of audio I
missed, paint-peeling from NHK and HLCA etc. Quite nuts, especially
as it all faded away quite rapidly compared with other mornings.

Congratulations Brian. You must have been taking most of HLCA's
signal at 1304UT this morning. Your entire recording is better than
anything I was able to manage at that time. Impressive recording.
And, actually, you did at least as well or better as I did on several

It was another prolific TP morning here. Most of the action was at the
lower end of the dial. There were lots of carriers at the upper end,
but few had audio. HLAZ struggled to be heard, but VOA-1575 was audible
for the first reasonable time in quite a while. There was a noticeable

Brian,
Thanks also for your interesting and detailed TP-DXing report from Arizona this
morning. It's always nice to know how Asian propagation varies in places far
away from here (even though it can also vary a lot between here and Seattle, 35
miles north :-)
I think a lot of the differe

Gary,
Nice report and nice signal on 972! I finally got audio there this
morning, although much weaker.
After missing Tuesday's conditions, it was nice to get in on the TP bonanza
this morning. Thanks to everybody for the regular TP reports.

I think Gary's description of conditions as "vibrant" fits here as well.
There seemed to be two broad signal peaks from Japan, one centered near
5:25am MST (1225UT) and another centered near 6:20am MST (1320UT). Local

Thanks to all who posted about WPIE. I gave it a try last night, not
really expecting to hear anything other than KSL and WYLL, but at 0500
UTC I was rewarded with a nice clear ID for WPIE, for a new one here,
and my 1900th station logged.

Hi Guys:
I was just looking back through some of my Logs and found 2 Logs from 1983,

I have done some Internet searches and can't find anything that could be it
either…….
So…..Does anybody who was Dxing back in 1

Hello All,
Congratulations to Richard for his TP receptions on Ultralight radios in
Oklahoma this morning. Those DXers hoping for a repeat of Tuesday's great
propagation certainly got their wish this morning, with the low band Japanese
big guns once again on the warpath at my 1320 start time
There were hints of signals indicated on 594 and 693 kHz just
before LSR at 1246, but no audio. Also, 774 JOUB - heard fading
in and out between 1055 and 1228, peaking at fair at 1138-1139.
