Hi Tammy,
Try this:
1. From Windows Explorer, highlight your cd drive.
2. Next, press alt + enter for the properties.
3. Go to the auto-play tab, and using the tab key, and the arrow keys,
set the drive to respond to your liking for each type of cd inserted into
the drive.

Hi Ken,
You can get to the display settings by doing the following:

Hi Rick,
I have been trying to get my audio cds to play in winamp, too. I have the
box checked in preferences, but when I got to properties, winamp isn't a
choice. I see two other media players and open to view in windows explorer.
Do you have any idea why winamp isn't there and how I can
Yup, I've done that, too. It used to play them automatically, so I cannot
figure out what's changed.

Hmmm, interesting.
So does any program play your CD automatically when you put it in your
drive?
I need to get out of here and head off to work, hopefully somebody else can
help you if you don't figure it out.

I could set it up to play cds in windows media player or vlc lan media
player, so I choose select an action. I don't want it to play in either one
of those.
Thank you for everything and have a good day at work.
Take care,

Hi Lois,

Try checking this:

2. tab until you come to setup directory context menus, and make sure it is
checked.
3. Save your settings, and exit WinAmp.
4. Now, go to the folder where
For now, I have it set up so that it opens the files in windows exp. so I
can choose a track and go to the context menu and winamp is the first thing
there. When I enter it plays. I don't get to say perform the same action

I wouldn't recommend it.
It would be best if you chose one or the other to avoid potential problems.

Hi all.
More and more I'm getting a screen wanting to use Flash. What's the
consensus on using this with JAWS? Will it cause a problem? Thanks for any
thoughts.

On an XP system, the folder is:
C:\Windows\Temp
Also, clean out:
C:\Documents and Settings\user_account\Local Settings\Temp
frequently. Things in either folder can result in strange behavior of
different applications including JAWS.

You might want to check with FS first. Inquire if Dot Net Framework is
really required for the online help.

Hi list members, i'd like to know how to create the message rule for this list?
What can i use instead of checking the item that says where to or cc line
contains people is there another line that i can use when specifying conditions
first? What about the subject line can that also be used
Go to the To field contain people and put in this list address.

I always use the single item that covers the contents of the To or Cc line
and then use the list address. Why don't you want to use that? I use that
for every list to which I'm subscribed. I would never use the contents of
the Subject line.

From: David Ingram
It's not a problem to use the subject line, if it contains a standard
prefix.
[jaws-users]
is the prefix David set for this list, so it never fails in a message rule.
If this isn't the case on other lists, then the, to, and cc fields would be
a better choice.

What you can do is put your jaws into the desktop precision see if that
makes a difference.
I think you want the numpad to work or do your reading for you.
Try it to see what happens.
