Hi Net bat,
Below is a direct download link for a very simple Password storing program
from the Jaws-Users website. I've been using Passkeeper for years, & it
hasn't let me down yet. It does have a size linit, I think it's around 125
entries, but you can always start a new Passkeeper if neces

Hi Net bat,
I understand where you're coming from, & maybe a program called, Asterisk

Hi Robin,
I have been experimenting with the, *, dictionary tweak, & Jaws only
reported UnReconciled when typing a password if I tweaked the Default JDF
dictionary manager, but not when I tweaked the Word JDF dictionary manager.
The Word JDF dictionary manager was my experimental application.
Michelle, I dealt directly with my grocery delivery service, and although it
took too long, they did make substantial accessibility improvements to the
website. So by all means garner support, but don't hesitate to complain on your
own behalf. Try to be as specific as possible and to prioritize
The reason for that is the system substitutes your password for a series of
stars.
It should be a small price in the long run.

Do you use a star in your password? What application are you doing this

Michelle, this is the grocery ordering company I was writing about. And
since you have as much trouble as I, I know it's not that my jaws or
computer is too old. It just isn't screen reader friendly. I tried IE,
Firefox and Chrome and none were up to what I call accessible as the site
should be. I
I don't know if this will work for you or not as I have not tried it. One
thing that I thought of doing if I wanted to do that is to create a new
voice scheme and naming it something to remind me of where I would want to
use it. A scheme can be set up to do a lot of things. I don't know if

Mike that works which I want, the only thing is when I open the program,
when i am typing in the password it is saying UnReconciled.
I am sure there is a way of fixing that!
Cheers Robin.

Hi Metthew
Via Jawskey+v you enter the Quicksettings.
Under "Editingoption" you can change the keyboardecho.
Also via the shortcut Jawskey+2 you can toggle between the different
keyboardecho options.
Jawskey is mostly the inserkey, but can also be setup as another key as for
example Capslock.

Just to add to Mike's explanation, be sure you follow his steps with the
application in focus where you want the * symbol verbalized differently.

Press your backspace key a coup
A JAWS-using friend who uses this website has similar problems, as I do with my
grocery delivery service. In my case, I find that different browsers work very
differently with the website, Firefox being the fastest.
