Are any of you using an Ellison Model 2 carb on a VW engine?
My Fuel tank is header mounted and I will be using a 2 psi electric fuel
pump to feed the carb that is 16 inches lower than the bottom of the tank.
Is it necessary to add a fuel primer circuit in this configuration?and

Mike I have used MEK in the past to smooth out orange peel in the past on
small parts. Never on the entire project. It works well and does not effect
the strength of any work under it. Rick
PS if you do this make sure it is well vented.
