I had exactly the same experience yesterday and Pat's email arrived just in

I use the same security utilities as Pat and Spybot S&D removed the
ICQ-SpyMonitor yesterday. I did not have ocassion to run Legacy so did not
notice until this morning that it would not r

After I had sent the help message, I did try running the
Check/Repair but that did nothing ; then, before I got your
message this morning, I tried running Micr
tore the
ICQ-SpyMonitor and now Legacy runs just fine again.
Looks like Spybot S&D is getting a little over agressive in hunting out
spyware.
