Right, that's understandable, but how do you share folders and stuff if you can't do it in the application because it has no windows? I understand the website but that's a bit tedious to go through every time you want to share a folder. Sent from my iPhone On Jul 3, 2013, at 3:25 PM, Sarah k A

You need to access it in the extras menu. Option click the extras item named dropbox and you should see the familiar menu. Good luck. On Jul 3, 2013, at 11:38 AM, Desi Noller wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > I have had a Dropbox folder for quite some time. I have had it for at least > two years,

Yes. If you are using mouse keys it's option i or option numpad 5, other wise it's option physical mouse click. I hope I'm clear. this can be confusing. On Jun 17, 2013, at 6:08 PM, Shaun Oliver wrote: > so that's option mouse click? > > On 18/06/2013, at 8:31 AM, Sarah k Alawami wrote: > >>

Hi Melissa, when you'd put the files in your dropbox folder, did you have the mac app running? If not, then the files wouldn't have synced, so you wouldn't be able to see them on your phone. On 2013-03-22, at 5:40 PM, Melissa Tucker wrote: > no error messages, just that I put the files in dr

no error messages, just that I put the files in dropbox where I usually put them on my mac, but when I try to pull them up on my phone, they aren't showing. I'm using the latest dropbox on my phone, but maybe dropbox company has an updated app that I'm not aware of. I might even try to reboot

Actually not true in all cases. I had to bring up a translation of my text to read it to a class and so I put it in a dropbox folder, got to school, pulled up the draft and read it. all from with in dropbox. no need for iTunes file sharing. Take care. On Mar 22, 2013, at 9:04 AM, Phil Halton

Actually all you should be able to do is launch the dropbox app in ios and you should see your files. they will be on the server. to download them to your phone double tap, then hit add to favorites. then and only then will the thing download to yourphone. Take care. On Mar 22, 2013, at 7:35

Usually the iPhone is synced with iTunes, not dropbox. I don't understand the need for dropbox to be in the equation for iPhone syncing. Anything in the dropbox folder is automatically uploaded to the dropbox cloud - you don't have to initiate any action, it is automatic. - Original Messag

Ah you want selective synch. go to the prefs of dropbox then advanced and uncheck the folders you won't want on each device. Not this is computer only. ios devices you are out of luck, but it does not download anyways on the ios devices so you should be good to go. On Mar 11, 2013, at 12:38 P
