I haven’t checked but I guess I can’t use numeric pad zero is because of using
the commander. Although, I didn’t think I’d left it on. No need to apologise,
thanks for the heads up on where to turn that pesty thing off.

Sorry I forgot I'd unselected f12 to open dashboard in the keyboard pref's I
do not use it!

I can confirm that I changing from Esc worked here. However, I couldn’t get F12
to work. The widgets calculator likes F12. I wanted to use numeric zero but it
wouldn’t have that, so I thought I’d try F12. By accepting Option + F12 Essc
works as the backward command i.e. cancelling
Hi Gina and Lee. If your escape key doesn't work, you can also program
it to listen for a key word. For example, if you wanted the keyword to
be Siri, you could program it to respond everytime you say Siri. After
you say the keyword, it'll make a sound and then you can issue the
command you wan
Hi I changed the hot key to F12 instead of escape on my Apple bluetooth
keyboard and it works fine!
