Ok, before that message spawns a riot, let me explain something please... My understanding is that Microsoft, owners of Skype, will begin sending text advertisements while you are in a call. I see absolutely no evidence that Microsoft is planning to call you or cause you to receive any surprise

As I explained this morning: To stop getting this silly spam calls, go to Skype preferences, choose privacy from the tool bar, and select contacts, as the choice in the allow calls from, pop-up menu. This will tell Skype that you don't want to get Skype;computer to computer calls from anyone
