announced that they will now be used routinely. They will track certain
of the information they know about you and connected people. The kind of
advertisements will be sent accordingly.

My understanding is that Microsoft, owners of Skype, will begin
sending text advertisements while you are in a call. I see absolutely
no evidence that Microsoft is planning to call you or cause you to
receive any surprise

JAWS Skype script users please read that. Mac users might gain some
understanding of what's up from that page as well, even though they
don't use my JAWS Skype scripts.

Yeah, I got that, too. It even had some simulated digital choppiness in the
signal to make me all worried. It's spam. You can avoid this type of spam by
going to system prefs, choosing Privacy in the tool bar, and checking the box
that says Allow Skype calls only from my contacts. It's a

Skype preferences, choose privacy from the tool bar, and select contacts, as
the choice in the allow calls from, pop-up menu. This will tell Skype that
you don't want to get Skype;computer to computer calls from anyone
