More newbie problems!
I am trying to get ruby running on my 770. I downloaded the tar file and
installed it in /var/lib/install/usr. I created a .profile that
added that
directory to the PATH. After rebooting the 770, it does not seem to be
working properly. Here is my .profile:

Maybe you are trying IT2005 binary on 2006 or 2007 system? This won't
work, recompiling is needed.

You can verify this is the case via poor man's ldd i.e. running dynamic
linker like this

Well folks, things did not quite go off as planned... I have the latest
OS immage, 2007, version 4.2007.26.8, and other than the base library
(Nokia catalog) I also have GPE Stable .. when I install gpe-contacts
and gpe-calendar, I get messages saying that installation failed. The

It's trying to go for a different type of launcher and system
interface. Some of the reasons that motivated me to work on this
came from issues I've had with the default UI:
Exciting stuff! A locked screen with unlocked keys is one of the

the same batt usage as the softpoweroff mode (as softpoweroff also
