I guess you have M$ Outlook delivered with your Windows Mobile Phone. Just
sync WM with Outlook on PC, and then use Nokia PC Suite to transfer it to
N900. It worked and I have all the contacts, calendar, tasks and notes
easily transferred.

I think Argentina uses the same frequencies as the US, so I would be very
surprised if those frequencies are not supported by the N900. Maybe the
supported frequencies depend where you buy it?
N900 doesn't have variations, every device has similar frequencies.

N900 allows importing contacts through Bluetooth.
Enable Bluetooth in both devices and pair them and it will automatically
imports contacts.
You will find this option in Settings-Transfer Sync.

It was the battery. I tried a couple of cheapie batteries then went to a
Nokia battery. Problem went away so I'm a happy camper and didn't have to
reflash. :-)
