Hi Manju,

Ok sounds good - looking forwards to it...
Cheers,

Hi Martin,
Yes we are looking into it actively, including possible changes to xsct tool
itself.
One patch which includes /usr/bin also works, we are more leaning towards this
patch.

The virtual/kernel provider for a machine A is the linux-xlnx-dev recipe.
I point to a kernel configuration by adding this to
linux-xlnx-dev.bbappend file in my layer:
FILESEXTRAPATHS_prepend := "${THISDIR}/files:"
SRC_URI += "file://customconfig.cfg"
I now have a machine B that I also want to us
dtgen.tcl will fail when YAML configurations are empty. This patch fixes
this issue by not creating the yaml file when YAML configurations are
empty

Hi Martin,
Can you check if this is empty?

We have a bug when this file is empty it causes DTG recipe to fail, I will send
out a patch soon

Hi,
I am struggling with device tree generation (using meta-xilinx-tools) of a
custom machine pretty much replicating zcu102, which in turn generates device
tree successfully. local.conf defines version 2017.3 and a local HDF file:
XILINX_VER_MAIN = "2017.3"

Hi Manju,
I guess I'm definitely not understanding. I'm using a custom machine
defined here (
https://github.com/kratsg/meta-l1calo/blob/master/conf/machine/gfex-prototype3.conf)
which does inherit from zcu102-zynqmp -- but I override the
MACHINE_DEVICETREE setting here. From what I understood, u-

Hi Manju,
Sure, but what is EXT_DTB and where do I set it/to what value? Googling
doesn't give me a lot of help here.
