Thank you!! I'm still hoping not to be forced to switch (not that Vista is
much better) but it's great to know it works.

A right-click on the taskbar gives a popup with recent files and then I get
two icons in the icons section near the clock : one for each instance. I
can click either of those as needed.
The short cut (shift ctrl m) for rapid entry pops a dialogue box with the
option to choose which file.
So, I ca
Steve, Could you try something? Save your main file and create a test file
by opening one of the templates. Save the test file, and then drag it into
the taskbar. Drag your regular datafile into the taskbar as well. (It
wouldn't hurt to make a copy, just in case). If you do that, and if you
have al
I thought I only had to check the option. Are you starting MLO from the
task bar or is there another way to start it, equiv to Start menu on other
Windows? I wonder if stopping and restarting MLO would help?

Hi Lisa.
I did that but then I couldn't open a second instance. If I open MLO again
it takes me to my already open file. If I go File New or File Open it
closes my live instance.
I am still on the trial version ( I will buy it but I'm hoping to find a
discount code!)
How do you get a second inst
Am I missing something?
Is it possible to sort the items in the iPhone app by due date?
It looks like all "PAST" items are not sorted. I would really like to be
able to sort the past items by due date?
Any suggestions? Is this feature available? If not, would MLO add this
feature?
Thanks!

Hi, Dan. Initially I had no answer to your question but it hit me today when
I was shaving. The reason for a 1-200 range is inflation.
When people have to rank importance on a scale of 1-100, the tendency is for
most tasks to end up in the range 90-100. Maybe you don't start out that
way, maybe
I must chime in here. Android tablet version would be much more efficient
to use with side panels, either the same or similar to the PC version, for
editing the fields for selected tasks.

Try zooming in on the Acme company. Make sure you don't have it set to sync
the zoom level with the first tab. That workspace will stay zoomed in.

Thanks, Steve. On other Windows systems it puts two copies in the system
tray. (If you feel like trying it out, just check Options -> Behaviour ->
Allow multiple instances, then start another copy. It won't hurt your data

I find that feature interesting too. I could use something like it myself.
I'll download a trial of LB to play around with a bit.
I've thought of MLO as the best of its type, although there are a couple of
other options I'm aware of which can do everything MLO does, such as
EccoPro (now free--
I had that problem once, when I started using MLO. I haven't had it since.
However, I do sometimes get MLO resetting to a non-UK keyboard layout, so
that the " and @ keys get swapped over. It seems random and fixes itself
the next time I start-up MLO.

If a future version of MLO supported more customised inheritance of task
parameters, you'd be able to do something like this.
I organise my outline by these "main focus areas" (I think of them as roles
a la Stephen Covey 7 Habits), with related projects for each focus area on

I may be overlooking something obvious here but is there any way to make a
task with a location based context not show up in my to-do list view until
I arrive at that location? Using MLO for pc and android. Thanks in advance
for any help.

I don't see examples of workspaces (other than the two defaults) in the
various templates. These would be helpful. I do see on the web page, that
it is possible to set-up a Workspace for just my Work Life or Home Life. I
can't, however, find an easy way to do variations of this. I see the filter

Hi Lisa
I haven't tried multiple instances but I can tell you the rapid entry works
with the "Always show icon in system tray". I don't know wWhich of your
multiple instances it would go to though
