Does anyone know how to use the setserial command to change the IRQ setting
of a modem to IRQ 5.
For some reason, linux seems to want to use IRQ 4 but that creates a
conflict. I've jumpered my modem to use IRQ 5 (which is free) but linux
doesn't want to recognize it as that. I read that I need
When I was a tech I installed many Phoebe modems. They are pretty
decent, and had models that could be jumper set to COM & IRQ (a very good
thing!). I bought my USRobotics before the v.90 spec had existed very long,
if there would have been a need for updating this was a better choice. A
