I had a similar gut-renching experience recently at Burnside War Memorial
Hospital in Adelaide. A Friday afternoon, had to see the CNM to give her
the caesarean awareness day info. She was still in theatre scrubs and when
I asked her if she had just come back from a cs, she said breat

Hi Aviva,
Thanks.
I have decided to go with 'getting
breastfeeding off to a good start' -this can relate to my book 100 Ways to Calm
teh Crying - everyone asks -is he hungry? when a baby cries - and of

Thank you, Tina. She'll be happy to receive this. Yes, it's
beautiful.
And Robyn, that birth of large baby, 43 weeks, must have been awe

Dear Frank and all
Women are always being told their ideas are stupid (usually by male 'experts') for
choosing certain birth options. We are fed up with being told to 'get back where
we belong'. It doesn't matter whether we are told to get back on a birthing stool or
get back to the kitche

Mary,
I think there is an association of hynosis therapists (maybe the white
pages?). I remember talking to a girl in my uni classes who birthed her
first two under hypnosis - her dad was a GP and did it for her. He was also
