Hi Mark,
I suppose you can see what you want to see in the image. It's intent was
almost anti-photo, to work with elements that went against what is
typically considered "good" photography, or, perhaps, more traditional ways
of exploring a scene and making a statement. That I used the word dream

you say, "overdone." The bright area is intended to be just as it is. The
crop and framing is exactly the way it was envisioned. Whether you care
for it or not is, of course, a very personal thing. The image was made to

Hi Bruce,
It seems the photo has awakened the poet within. Perhaps I wasn't too far
off the mark when referring to some of your photos as haiku-like.

Balance is a bourgeois concept . See Bruce's comments in this thread

Wow, very striking image! It comes across as very manipulated, but in
a very wonderful way. The color saturation is quite extreme, but
works very well here. The haze/mistiness is really cool.
Compositionally, I really like how the left side seems to show

I like this. Are the effects (mist, high saturation) all photoshopped? It looks
like a pro mist filter in-camera effect combined with some post processing,
including a hard turn on the saturation dial. In any case, it works. A nicely
