I am under the impression that Soundflower must be selected as the input
AND output audio device in system preferences for this to work. Is this
really so? Is this what is called a loopback device?

Has anyone, even shaydon, gotten this to work at least once?

You can also define the default device in the Makefile.
For possible transport specifiers try 'cdda2wav dev=help'."

No luck. I tried playing the file directly from the Music Folder and
the SB3 displays the message "Nothing", so I guess it still considers
it as a playlist.
I even tried renaming the file to "Substitute2.ra" with the same
result.
Thanks for your patience. BTW, keep up the
ve much experience with adding new types.
Should I remove "rm" as one of the extensions being recognized as rstp
playlists or can SC handle multiple instances of the same extension
among multiple types? Is "rm" the right file type? Also, should I edit
the convert.conf file a
w locally present. I guess I'll just slip it into my Music
Folder. Any advice before I make a fool of myself thinking this should
work?

tes that the type is HTTP. Couldn't we add HTTP to the

the SB3 display using the rstp url.
Hum, BTW, I can actually get mplayer to play the stream locally with
the http OR the rstp URL.
I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the fact that the rm file
is audio and that the server expects it to be a playlist.

Actually, I was trying to stream lossless audio from my internal cd
player and I just found the thread on the CDPlayer plugin you created.
Looking forward to test it as soon as I get home tonight. Thank you.
